The Challenge

Drive Website Traffic To Liberate Life And Support the Haemophilia Community

Swedish Orphan Biovitrum (Sobi) is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of biopharmaceuticals that help patients suffering with very rare diseases.

An innovative ‘Liberate Life’ website was created to help patients with haemophilia to improve their lives, but unfortunately the target audience could not find it online. Nerd Digital was therefore commissioned to:

  • Devise a new digital strategy to raise awareness of the Liberate Life campaign
  • Use Google Ads to help people find the answers to their very condition-specific queries
  • Manage the Liberate Life social media campaigns
  • Advise Sobi’s on its 2024 SEO and content strategy

Audience research, channel selection, and campaigns that convert

First up, we needed to fully understand the audience and conduct keyword research. This enabled the team to understand what people were searching for when wanting to learn more about haemophilia, and ways to live with the disease. Nerd then delivered a strategy document with recommendations for a content strategy with search engine optimisation.

Google pay-per-click, Facebook, and Twitter social media campaigns were set up and managed. Regular data analysis reports continue to be produced for ongoing improvements in performance.

  • Within one quarter, a fivefold increase in website traffic was achieved
  • Visitors taking actions on the website increased by more than 50%
