Nerd was contracted by Incisive Media to launch its go to market strategy for a new market research product for its leading digital media technology brand, www.computing.co.uk
The brief was to market and get in front of extremely busy chief information officers at global brands and SMEs, to get them excited about this market research and peer-to-peer networking tool.
This required an all encompassing digital marketing, business development and sales strategy for 24 months.
A detailed go to market strategy was developed together with a comprehensive sales and marketing plan. Regular email marketing campaigns were sent to 100,000+ contacts per month, with content marketing delivery and display advertising across key websites that the target audience visited.
One of the most successful elements of this project evolved from the search engine optimisation strategy. Research with the audience uncovered that users would be starting to think about needing the product when they were comparing brands in the market. A string of content pieces were written with these keywords in mind, and the work caused a massive leap in the website traffic.
